Fantastic Kimerald: I couldn't agree more!

….because the team up was formed by Kim & Gerald’s OWN preference for each other. The bond was formed inside the PBB house. Nobody forced them to BE together. Certainly it was not us who chose the one for the other. They did it themselves without anyone’s prompting. The public picked up on it, without Kimerald’s knowledge, & fortunately ABS-CBN took notice. Everybody happy

.….because at the on set, the Kimerald was the BIDA. Few could claim this distinction, if ever there was one who could. Kimerald did not go in the process of being mere SUPPORT or second leads. BIDA agad sila. They were the first to star in the new show Love Spell & gained high ratings & killed a rival show in the process. The only project that they were second leads was in Maligno BUT they were in the company of big stars this time around & their roles were very relevant in the story. They were not there just because.….because they don’t need ALL STAR CAST to make their projects a success especially in the ratings. Almost all their projects (except Maligno) they have for support a meagre number of veteran stars. All the credit went to Kimerald as they were the reason people watched their shows. One would notice that their mother network spends LESS for their projects but gets MORE out of it. TUBONG LUGAW with Kimerald everytime

.….because the KIMERALD has the Midas touch. They rule in the ratings. Think Sana Maulit Muli. Number 1 in the ratings nationwide inspite & despite of the Kimerald being neophytes in the business. Consider also that another show was in the line up with an all star cast of old & new big stars. But still Kimerald came out on top of the game. Think My Girl, their second teleserye, which again ruled the rest inspite of the pronouncements of the rival network on whose on top. My Girl was the TALK OF THE TOWN. Everybody watched it. Think all of their projects. What more evidence can one provide for the validity of the Kimerald’s drawing power & being a big winner in the ratings. If it’s a KIMERALD, its surely be a success

.….because they are box office hit makers. Okay, their 2 movies so far, First Day High & Ive Fallen For You, did not hit the million peso mark but then again those 2 movies did not have international screenings & neither were they big budgeted films nor those were mainstream comedies that no matter who stars in it will surely rake in big in the tills. Those films were maligned as being ‘’light & irrelevant’’. Even before the showing of those films, it was already undermined. But despite these the 2 movies still passed the 50 million peso mark & were certified hits.

….because they are used as the catalyst. Whenever there is a drop in the ratings or the need to pull up the ratings, Kimerald is placed to pick up the slack. The result is always instantaneous. Sadly, Kimerald is still being undermined by some people. They refuse to believe that Kim & Gerald has become IT

.….because while they are great being Kim & Gerald, they are exceptional when they are KIMERALD. Every show, project, guestings, appearances & endorsements they appear together as KIMERALD, the result or effect is greater than appearing only as Kim & Gerald.….because even if people always see them together in every project, Kimerald never fails to offer something new. Similarities in roles & storylines, people still find something different & exciting with every Kimerald project. Its like the next project they do is in another level thereby sustaining public interest. The fans just cant get enough of KIMERALD.

….because even if they don’t have any clout in the business, a showbiz family name or exceptional talents, Kim & Gerald are still loved by numerous fans because they are simply KIMERALD. Even when they were still inside the PBB house, the people already loved them as KIMERALD. They steadily garnered fans until now by just being together as Kimerald. They didn’t need intrigues, gimmicks, influential backers, rich patrons, favors & publicities to make it in howbiz. Kimerald already had the popularity so many others craved for. Kim & Gerald owes their success in their tandem. They are already at the top of the game simply because they are KIMERALD.

Kimerald and MMK: I feel like tearing my hair out!

To watch or not to watch? To believe or not to believe?

I am so confused with the latest arguments about KG in PEx. The confusion started when the news about Kim's MMK episode with Matt came out.

I was having reservations of watching it since I am totally obsessed with Kimerald-only tandem. But on the other hand, I wanted to support Kim and I was curious. So I just hoped that it was not a romance story.

But I was wrong. It's about a high school romance. And worse, a lot of people came out with info about this being the first and subtle step of ABS to split the KG!

ANd I was "WWWHHHHAAAAATTTT?????" How can they even think about it?

I was, I am, Always Have been and Always will be a Kapamilya loyalist. I never watch any other channel. I prefer to just put off the tv than give the other channel even a point in their rating.

But all these stories about the happenings in ABS, is it true? Philippine showbiz is as dirty as politics so I am somehow swayed, that i think it's possible that it is happening indeed.

OMG!!!! Just the thought of breaking them apart makes me wanna weep! I think I'm going to email them and tell them not to even think about breaking KG right now. The time is not yet right. I am not yet ready to see them being paired to others.

An occasional team up with others would be okay as long as the end of the day, Kim and Gerald would still be the loveteam.

My Most Favorite Kimerald Fanfiction

I had the privilege of being one of the first readers of the fanfiction Anne has written about Kimerald entitled F.R.I.D.A.Y.S.!

And OMG!!!! It is my most favorite so far!! So Kilig, so thrilling, so heartwarming...it gave me goosebumps while I was reading it. Anne even asked me what's my post favorite part.

I cannot point out one fave part because every scene is my favorite part from last to finish.
